The ECO STOR Storage Monitor provides a transparent view of the development of large-scale battery storage capacity in Germany, using open data from the national Market Master Data Register (MaStR).

It highlights the impressive growth of the German storage market and includes all registered battery systems (of any technology) with a capacity above 1 MW that are not connected at the low-voltage level.

Because planned systems are not subject to registration requirements, the actual project pipeline is likely significantly larger than the reported figures.
