Energy storage is the missing link between renewable power generation and consumption. It speeds up the transformation to a cleaner and safer energy system.Our energy storage parks connect directly to the high voltage distribution and transmission grids in order to participate in multiple energy market places. ECO STOR develops and builds leading-edge large scale energy storage parks in Germany and soon also in other European regions. In 2022 we built and commissioned 7 projects from 7 to 21 MW with an overall capacity of 100+ MWh of storage capacity. Projects under development have a comulated volume of more than 2 GWh storage capacity for realisation in the coming years.
Consumers continuously require energy from the grid. Many are not able to adapt their consumption flexibly to the fluctuating production from wind and solar.
Wind and solar plants produce depending on weather conditions. The plants cannot adapt their production to the requirements of the consumers.
Grid connected storage systems work on the interface of renewable energy production and consumption. They care for a timely and quantitative balancing between supply and demand.
